Easy read, inexpensive, but neither book reports on hawaiian history engaging or informative. Interesting facts but book reports on hawaiian history more for a young reader. Many sections lead with "did you know For example, section headline "Mark Zuckerberg Owns an Estate on Kauai" then begins with "Did you know Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerburg owns an estate on Kauai?

Or did you know "A Former President of the United States is From Hawaii" uh, book reports on hawaiian history, yeah. So if you've been way too busy to research anything about your vacation destination, this might be worthwhile as a quick read on your long flight before you watch a movie.

Just be prepared to read "Did you know Followed by "Yes it's true! Take for example the surfer who was 13 years old inis toay a mother and author, and a movie was made from her book back in Bill O’Neill You did it again!! My head is spinning!!! There is so much I didn’t know about Hawaii!!!!

I had to read the book twice to take it all in. One thing.
